Kehoes Heritage Pub

One of Dublin's oldest pubs, Kehoes Heritage Pub is not a shrine to days gone by, but you will find instead that it is one of Dublin's liveliest drinking and social haunts. Although many things have changed since it opened its doors almost 200 years ago, this unique premises still manages the perfect mix of the old and the new.

Many poets, playwrights and novelists have frequented this unique pub including James Joyce, Brendan Behan, Patrick Kavanagh and Myles na gCopoleen, although the high spirits and showmanship resulted in regular periods in the Sin Bin, which means barred.

The premises that Kehoes Heritage Pub resides in today were completed towards the end of the 19th century in typical Victorian style. Inside you will find stained glass mahogany doors, old Irish snugs, partitions and the entire homely feel throughout the pub.

Kehoes in located just off Grafton Street on South Anne Street and is a stones throw away from Trinity College, Stephens Green, the museum quarter and the Gaiety Theatre.
