Donabate, Balcarrick Beach in North County Dublin, is a popular beach location for walking and canoeing. It is easily accessible from the M50 and M1 motorways.
From the beach there are spectacular coastal views of Lambay Island, Howth Peninsula and the Malahide Estuary. There are many rock pools to explore.
There is free car parking and toilet facilities on site. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer months. Lifeguard times are displayed on the beach information board. Dogs are allowed on the beach when on a lead.
