The Design & Crafts Council Ireland's Irish Design Week celebrates the work of Irish makers and artists through events across the country.

The Making of Beautiful Things showcases Ireland's design and craft history through exceptional works in various media and styles. Featured makers include John ffrench, Harry Clarke, and the Dun Emer Guild. Highlights include a ruby decanter by Ireland's last active glassmakers, a brass armillary sphere from Dublin's scientific instrument era, and traditional Irish chairs showing vernacular techniques.

The tour starts at 1pm at Collins Barracks Reception. No booking required; places are first-come, first-served.
