About this event

The Big Dig offers children a chance to step into the boots of an archaeologist by learning how to excavate the remains of a Viking house.

As they dig through the site, the young explorers will unearth Viking treasures and artefacts dating back 1,000 years. Learn about the lives of our Viking ancestors as history is brought to life in a unique, hands-on, experiential workshop. Free ticketed event, limited space for walk-ins.
