About this event
Genevieve will navigate what literary genetics means, the complexities of "Finnegans Wake" through a focus on the archive and pre-book publications, and consider the importance of artistic process in Joyce’s final work. Special focus will be paid to Joyce’s daughter Lucia, who was instrumental in the creative process. Her talk precedes the publication of her forthcoming book, "Literary Genetics: Modernism and Theories of Mind," published by Bloomsbury.
Dr. Genevieve Sartor is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Lakehead University in the Department of Health and Behavioural Sciences. She holds a PhD from Trinity College Dublin and MScR from the University of Edinburgh.
Doors open at 6pm. The event is free but booking is required.
