Enjoy a family day out at Explorium in Sandyford, County Dublin. A real 21st century hands on experience where science and sport meet, with over 300 interactive exhibits to challenge and ignite the curiosity of all.

Explorium’s mission is to inspire curious minds, to discover the wonders of science and sport with hands on experiences.

The science section is suitable for visitors eight years and older, whereas the junior science section caters for younger visitors. There is a variety of exhibits and experiences, with something for everyone. The junior area is dedicated to children aged two to seven years and takes about 2 hours.

In the activities area of the centre, visitors can try one of the climbing wall challenges or for stepping into new worlds with VR (virtual reality) or AR (augmented reality).

Additionally, Explorium houses a sensory space designed for neurodivergent families, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
